Love is in the air with Hearts and Hooves Day upon us and we have a very special Guest of Honor to help us all celebrate. BABSCon is pleased to announce Jenn Blake, one of the talented artists working on IDW Limited’s My Little Pony releases! How talented? Well she drew that art up there just for us!
Jenn Blake is a California native who grew up to be a real life Rarity; a fashion designer with over twelve years of experience. Wishing to expand her artistic talents, she was approached to be an illustrator on the IDW Limited releases of “The Return of Queen Chrysalis” arc. When she’s not being the coolest pegasister out there, drawing her adorable OC on her DeviantArt, Facebook, and Twitter, she enjoys a good vintage of Monster energy drink and hanging out with Rarity.
Jenn is helping us launch our 2nd annual #LoveBABS Hearts and Hooves day contest where you bronies get out your tablets and selfie sticks and show us the true meaning of love! Use our #LoveBABS tag on Twitter or Facebook along with your personally made art or photo and you could win a pair of free 3-Day passes to the con!
Awards will be given out in two categories: Best Photo representing Hearts and Hooves Day and Best Art representing Hearts and Hooves Day involving BABSCon’s mascot, Golden Gates! The winner of each category will receive two free Ponyville Pony passes, for themselves and their “Schmoopy Doo”, which includes access to all days of the con!
All you've got to do is tweet @babsconsf, or post to our facebook page, with the tag #LoveBABS and you’ve entered! Pictures should be PG (or less) and only one category per person can be entered.
